DIFN is restructuring its work in Nigeria with a view to specialise in the following areas of activity
- Child Rights/Child protection training & advocacy
- Adding value to Universal Basic Education schools in the areas of staff training and resource provision
- Supporting orphan and vulnerable children and their carers
- Youth focused job creation and social enterprise initiatives
- Capacity building training for teachers/educators and youth workers in the areas of: conflict management, peace & reconciliation, peer facilitation & mediation and values orientation
