- Community based organisations
- Local NGOs
- Faith groups organisations
- Local and state government staff
- Other development stakeholders such as the media and interested individuals.
Churches In Development Network - CIDN
CIDN will primarily focus on capacity building in the following areas:
- Ecumenical HIV/AIDS work in Nigeria
- Ecumenical Community Development /Community Health Training in Nigeria
- Ecumenical Social Justice & Advocacy work in Nigeria
- Sourcing local funding among Churches and Christians in Nigeria for partnership work
Values for Positive Citizenship - VfPC
Values for Positive Citizenship programme is based on the Living Values Education Programme - a UNESCO recognised programme promoting value based education and focusing on 12 universal values essential for constructive development
These are - Cooperation, Freedom, Happiness, Humility, Honesty, Love, Respect, Peace, Unity, Tolerance, Responsibility, and Simplicity.
Diaspora Volunteers
DIFN is engaging with the BME / Diaspora community in the UK [especially people of Nigerian / African decent] offering relevant community development related volunteer placements in Nigeria.
This new initiative comprises of the following
- Youth / Young Adult Volunteering placements during Easter and Summer holidays / GAP Year placements.
- Specialist Short Resource Person Placement.
- Local Government Capacity Building.
